With the fourth industrial revolution underway, the province of KwaZulu-Natal is aimed towards lending a helping hand to poor communities across KZN through the Operation Sukuma Sakhe (OSS) program. In the programs initiative to assist the community, KZN Treasury has donated 10 computers to Windy Heights Primary School situated in Malukazi near Isipingo. The School principle Thembekile Makhanya expressed her gratitude and emphasized that the School although still offering mainstream subjects is on a mission to offer a variety of skills based and extra-curricular subjects including computer lessons, sign language and piano lessons. This project is aimed at expanding the skills of learners as well as broadening their choice of careers, thus receiving these computers will assist tremendously towards achieving this object. Windy Heights Primary School currently enrolls 1600 pupils and hopes to create four smart classrooms next year. By Sinenhlanhla Nala
